That's what Cathy said when she got into the car tonight at the Post Office. I had the windows down and I didn't smell anything. Shrugged and didn't say anything. Backed out and head home the few blocks across town. Cathy sorted the envelopes and their was a package. Pulled up at the house and she handed me my mail which included the box.

I started laughing. Laughing Laughing Laughing The box was from C&D and has a pound of Cyprian latakia, a pound of perique and some other things. The box practically reeked. I told her why she thought the town was on fire.

She laughed also. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Whatever you whip up with that stuff, you'll have to name it Kathys Three Alarm Smoking Mixture Laughing

Something Dunhill like I hope. I am after that toasty flavor in the Standard mixtures, London Mix, Durbar, and Nightcap.

I want to smoke all this stuff straight to get a feel for what it is alone and then do a little blending. See what happens.

The Bright yellow ribbon I want to play with toasting it a bit in a skillet and see what it does. Problem is, how long? Will it change colors? Can the process be replicated if I really like what I get?

Usual problems I guess.
