I'm trying to research the history of the Rem-Con Pipe Company of Tompkinsville, KY. I believe there was also a sales office in Indianapolis, IN. According to the information I have, a man named Larry Condra started the company sometime in late 1945, or early '46. They were in business until sometime in the fifties, I think. At first glance, one might mistake Rem-Cons for early Custombilts, but a second glance will correct that impression. Any information anyone might have about Mr Condra, or the Rem-Con Smoking Pipe Company will be highly appreciated. I'll happily bear the costs of reproducing and mailing any catalogues, letters, or other ephemera associated with this company. Feel free to PM me regarding this post.
Thank you,
