Brick and Mortar, usually referring to a stand alone tobacco shop but in some circles can also mean a tobacco shop in a strip mall. Basically, a shop dedicated soley to pipes, tobaccos and cigars.

I didn't know it stood for brick and mortar, but I always understood it to be a physical shop as opposed to an online shop.

Im sooooooooooooo glad you asked the question. The term had me baffled for a while and I'm glad I'm not the one sounding like an idiot for asking. Oops I guess I sound like a clown now. Who would have guessed it's brick and mortar anyway.
