I discovered a tin of McChrystal's Original that had been sitting in a drawer for who knows how long. It is generally a highly mentholated snuff, but most of the menthol flavouring seems to have evaporated from this tin, revealing a truly delicious tobaccoey scent. I am enjoying it enormously.

I enjoy McCrystals from time to time,I prefer it fresh although I do get
comments that I smell like a cough drop. There's a British snuff named
Hedges that has camphor in addition to the menthol,it was a favorite of the
Welsh coal miners and it will really burn your nose and make it run like a
faucet.

I guess if you were using Hedges, a lobster bib or bucket would be in order Laughing

They don't import Hedges to the USA,few would want it.If you were
a Welsh coalminer you might need it to keep the coal dust washed
out of your sinuses.I've gotten tins gifted to me from Wales, never
could finish one.

I have some GH Camphor Menthol snuff... not as strong as what you're describing with the Hedges, but a does it ever start the sinuses flowing!

Sometimes it's nice to clear the passages with something really decongestant before sampling something smoother and mellower.
