anyone own an inverness cape, made of wool (not the waterproof versions)?
how do you like it and where did you buy it?

Yep. I own a vintage brown houndstooth version. I purchased it on e-bay years and years ago.

I know I'm pretty much resurrecting a dead thread, here. But I have a lovely pendleton wool Inverness cape that a friend made for me. She sells them relatively cheap and made it for me in exchange for my wife knitting her husband some Argyle Kilt Hose. (The man has legs like tree trunks!)

This is a terrible, posed picture that I took when I was still young and, quite frankly, a bit of a poseur. But it's a beautiful cape at any rate. I wear it with my Kilt often.
