MARK TWAIN COLLECTION - Samuel Langhorn Clemens, better known as Mark Twain, wasn't an Irishman, but Americas most famous author had a sharp tongue, he was socio-critical, had an analytical mind - and he was a pipesmoker. Ernest Hemingway said about him: 'All of American literature comes from one book by Mark Twain called Huckleberry Finn - There was nothing before. There has been nothing as good since.' The bent Mark Twain shape was produced for the american market only and attained cult status. The second pipe in the set is a poker shape, related to the Corn cob pipe that Huckleberry Finn used to smoke.
