I guess you can tell I love classic rock. Morphine gets in the list for dissonance and the baritone sax. Dissonance done well, not avant garde jazz with its very muddled melody, if there is one.

| What an egghead I am for not including Steely Dan in my list. Absolutely fantastic musicians, songs, and Donald Fagan's unforgettably cynical voice, so perfect for the material. Royal Scam and Aja are my favorites, but all of their records are good. |
