PostSubject: GBD Pedigree: What type of stem?   Sun May 09, 2010 2:18 pm

Hello Brothers
I am relatively new to estate pipe purchasing so any and all help would be much appreciated. I recently purchased a GBD Pedigree (9608) Poker (1970’s?) with a very cheep replacement stem. I am considering sending the pipe off to Tim West to get a more accurate stem placed on the pipe, along with a GBD logo. My question is what type of stem was usually found on a Pedigree: Lucite, Vulcanite, Clear Persplex or something else entirely? Was there a choice of stems when purchasing new?

Thanks for the help
Cheers
Joshua
