I am excited for Samuel Gawith to release some stuff so I can try the FVF. Does anybody have anything they would recommend that is simular, while I wait for another shipment of FVF to come in.

If you can accept a broken flake VA, McClelland's annual release of its Christmas Cheer (and this year's was just released), is dependably superior.

You might try Marlin Flake from Rattray's. I also recommend the Christmas Cheer from McClelland.

These are kind of like your wife's sisters -- same family, different women.

Very apt way of putting it!

I've never had anything quite like FVF, though all of the other recommendations are all top notch VAs in their own right.

I'm not aware of any other tobacco that is prepared like S. Gawith FVF. I would recommend along with my brothers GL Pease Union Square, an amazing straight Virginia, try a tin you'll not be disappointed.
