|  I don't know how much down south you guys hear about this guy but if you like a great country based folk singer then this here is your man. Writes 100% of his songs and is not ashamed to sing about where he is from instead of selling-out to nashville and singing about margaritas and tractors. Is a staunch defender of his heritage (first nations people, American Cavalry men, riggers and cowboys) the ever growing complexity of the oilsands debate up here and the damage to the environment. He sings great truckin' songs, card playing songs, rodeo songs, whiskey songs, cavalry songs all with a folk singers twist. You guys might be more interested in his Cavalry based CD "Horse Soldier, Horse Soldier" and i recommend you guys and gals check him out! |
