Since I was a young man I LONGED for a pipe made by Jack Weinberger who passed away some time ago. He was an attorney employed by the VA who made beautiful pipes in his spare time and eventually retired and made them full time. I couldn't afford them then and longed to have one. I finally saw one at Premier Pipes.com but alas it was reserved for someone else. Well it turned out that the buyer found it too large to suit him and Dick the owner sent it to me. It is a beautiful example of Jack Weinberger's work,A massive Calabash and I love it!

If your interested in some history on Jack Weinberg, you might try contacting Mark Tinsky. He and Curt Rollars apprenticed under Mr Weinberg.
