I seem to be making a habit of signing up for pipe forums at the moment. Thought I would add this one to the list. Looks like there is some useful info to be had here.

I'm Tony, a 53 year old snuffer and pipe smoker from Hull, Yorkshire. These days with smoking bans in force I only ever smoke a pipe at home but my snuff is always with me. I've been using both for over 35 years, pipes since I was 16 and snuff since I was 18.

My usual preference for pipe tobacco is Virginia flakes, with or without additions and I am definitely into my Peterson pipes, though I have a fair few others as well.

Not sure if there are many other Brits here. We seem to be in a minority on all the pipe forums I am familiar with.

Welcome aboard, Tony! You'll find many folks here who puff and snuff in tandem, myself included.

Hi Tony. Welcome aboard. I think there are a few Brits around. Always happy to have another. Smoking is allowed so puff away while enjoying the fellowship.

Welcome Aboard!! I'm sure there are a few Brits to be found here but pipe smokers know no boundaries as we consider ourselves part of the same clan. We would be honored with your frequent participation. I'll drink a Theakston's Old Peculiar in your honor.

Old Peculier! Now there's a fine beer, brewed not that far from here. I like their bitter as well. We have friends just outside Masham so we get to visit the brewery tap (attached pub) often enough Smile
