It’s been a very busy few weeks at Cigarsandpipes.com as we switched over the web site to our new hosting company. Due to traffic on the site (thanks!), the server we were on just couldn’t keep up (I think it must have been a Commodore 64 or something...) so we switched to a much bigger company; it loads super fast and is working great!

We just uploaded a whole bunch of new Radice pipes, and I have to say they are just awesome… especially at the price they are offered. As you know, Radice is distributing their own pipes now, so the oil cured and twin bore models are no longer available. I still have a few of those pieces left on the site.

The new Radice pipes are better than ever, and available from a select list of retail partners, of which I am proud to be one. If you haven’t seen these pipes recently, you just have to check them out! Unbelievable work at a great price!

In addition to the Radice pipes, we’ve added some more Bonacquisti pipes, some new Ardor and also three nice pieces from my pal Alberto Bonfiglioli!

We’ve also added two new bulk English Tobaccos; “Knightsbridge” (which is getting rave reviews) is a full bodied English mixture of Virginias, Smyrna, Latakia and Perique and PL 11-010, which is an almost exact match of the now discontinued and much beloved A11010, formerly available only at the Dunhill stores. It’s a full Latakia blend, with a few other condiment tobaccos added to provide depth and sweetness… a unique mixture! We are working feverishly on a clone to the beloved Connoisseur blend “Scottish Ribbon” and according to our tasting panel, we’ve got that one “knocked” as well. That should be up on the site in the bulk section within the week.

All for now! Thank you for all the support!

Paul, does the PL11-010 have that toasted flavor of the Dunhill blends? I got my hands on 8oz each of the Dunhill store version from 1994 and 1998. Great stuff.

Hi Carlos,

If you like that blend, I think you would like the Park-Lane version. The guys who tested it for me were big fans of the blend and we worked on several versions before feeling that this was it! That said, we were all working from older A11010 that had been aged in mason jars, so with that amount of time the tobacco mellows a bit and changes. But, we feel that this blend is really good now, and a little aging will make it even better. I'd be happy to send you a sample if you'd like to try it.
Best,
PB
